LinkedIn is also seen as contributing to the decline in revenue for newspapers due to job-seekers establishing an online presence instead of placing classifieds. Businesses, too, are moving online to find employees.
And we all know Murdoch already has experience with successful social networks – News Corp. purchased MySpace in 2005, remember.
