PAYjr vs. Handipoints
Point of this post: PAYjr is better than Handipoints.
I found this other chore site “handipoints” when i googled “chore tracking online.”
I think that its going to be easier to teach my kid about being financially responsible if he learns to do it with real money. Real things he’ll need for real life. Not some game points…Also - with PayJr, your visaBuxx are universal $$ and not something you can only buy from this handipoints “store”.
On my affiliate links for the PayJr site, it shows most text links that are geared towards “teens.”
I asked my ten year old:
Would you rather track the chores online where you can earn points to buy something in their store only or where your balance is paid on visabuxx? His short and sweet reply:
Do they have Chicago Bears Jersey in their store?
I think that makes sense!
Most common text link ads for the PAYjr card are like this one:
Tired of borrowing your parent’s credit card to buy things online? Try the PAYjr Visa Buxx Card.
Teach your teen how to manage money with a prepaid card now. Try the PAYjr Visa Buxx Card.
This handipoints thing, I dont know if my kid wants the stress of being GRADED on chores! Just pay me already(that’s what I’d be thinkin!)
