Little Java House

July 4th, 2008

This little yellow coffee house is on one of the main roads in Macomb, IL. While we were looking for a starbucks to get wifi, we happened upon this one instead. A quaint little house with three patio tables in back, a few seats in side, and a perfectly fast internet connection was where we spent Independence Day morning.

My iced mocha was perfect, and I think my guy loved his italian soda - judging by how he was milking it.

The owner had his ride parked in back, and they’ve got some Curbside Service spots for the regulars who come every day I guess. They take credit cards, but do everyone in small town free enterprise a service and use cash. Do you know how much the credit cards actually take from biz owners?

We’ll be sunning it up (well kinda - we’re under an umbrella) for about 2 hours here, I”m guessing… Hope you enjoy your Independence.
